Officer's Reports
Chris Bromley (area Chairman) reviewed the area progress during the year
Roy Allam presented reports covering his year as Vice Chairman and the operation
of the achievement scheme during the year.
Steve Ogden reported on his year as Secretary and informed the meeting that
he wished to resign the post.
Mike Colling reviewed his year attending and reporting on the BMFA meetings
attended on behalf of the area committee.
David Lloyd-Jones reported on his year and the events held at Shawbury.
Derek Gilbert reported on the area finances, and drew the meetings attention
to the surplus earned from sale of goods of £245 and an increase in the
Head Office grant of £419, which went a long way to produce a surplus
of £1,206. The meeting approved the audited accounts for the year.
Joe Flynn reported that the 2004 F/F events went well, however there is some
concern that the site at Rufforth was becoming difficult with the growth of
trees, horses and rails. At present there are only 7 regular flyers.
Area Chief Examiners Reports
Tom Anyon, Burt Caton, Andy Ellison, David Lloyd-Jones Ray Jones, Martyn Whittingham
and Richard Budd all reported/had their reports read to the meeting detailing
their activities in the year.
Election of Officers
The Secretary, Steve Ogden, indicated that he wished to resign as Secretary
and wished to stand for election for the position of Area Delegate. Consequently
a ballot was held for the position of Area Delegate between S Ogden and M Colling.
The following were elected to serve as elected officers of the area for the
following two years.

After the meeting the Vice Chairman tendered his resignation and Mike Colling was co-opted to this position until the 2005 AGM. Derek Gilbert offered to fill the vacant post of Secretary until a volunteer could be co-opted.

This was deferred to the next area meeting. Later set for 13 December 2005.
