A short Area meeting was held after the 2005 AGM
The meeting commenced at 21.50

2006 Meeting Dates were agreed to be held:
31 January, 28 February,25 April, 6 June, 12 September and 17 October
AGM 12 December

Any Other Business
CB explained that the proposed byelaws were delayed as they are now to be considered by DEFRA

DLJ requested permission to book Shawbury for the scale fly in next year. This was agreed if a more central location could not be found.

KB was sanctioned to plan for 6 indoor meetings next season.

The meeting noted with regret the passing of Gig Eifflaender. DLJ was asked to write to his family on behalf of the Area.

Synthesised radio equipment was explained and discussed. CB noted that 2.4g band was now available, but only for boats and cars.
It was noted that park flyers were now being imported with radio gear on 35mhz.
